Sea Botanical Purifying Cleanser – 4oz.

A refreshing cleanser for oily, blemish prone skin. This soothing, balancing formula removes impurities, leaving skin looking smoother and feeling great. Our specialized seaweed rich broth, along with balancing botanicals such as White Green Tea, Canadian Willowbark and White Birch extract helps purify the skin. Kombu helps combat pigmentation caused by blemishes. Alaskan Bull Kelp helps purify the skin. It also has excellent firming and toning effects on the skin. Powerful Kombu seaweed extract is high in Fucoidan, Alginate Vitamins, A,B,C,D, E and K. A powerful skin ally.

How to Use: Evenings. Can be used in morning also if skin is oily when waking up. Apply a dime size amount with fingers on damp skin. Using circular strokes cleanse your face and neck. Avoid getting too close to the eye area. Rinse off well with tepid water. Pat dry. Follow with recommended Sea Botanical Toner and other Sea Active products.

Vinni’s Tips: If you are wearing heavy makeup, cleanse once to remove. Rinse off. Reapply a little more cleanser and cleanse one more time.

Background:
Decongesting and purifying your skin is a primary step in keeping your skin blemish free and smooth. This gel also helps prevent future blemishes, while promoting the healing of current blemishes. Makeup artists love this gel for its ability to be swiftly applied prior to makeup application and its ability to reduce appearance of enlarged pores on cheeks, nose and chin areas, without interfering with makeup.

Clear gel with a clean aroma

Application:
Apply on clean skin. After using BotaniSea Toner. Pump a little out of the bottle and apply onto face. Using “Piano Key” fingers, briskly, swoosh the gel across the cheeks, chin, nose and forehead. If the neck is blemish prone, apply there also.

• BHW Complex and Wai Restructured Water- the vitamin infused “broth” used to make Wai Hope products, inplace of “water”. Helps strengthen the skin and support healthier skin function. Rich in skin healing seaweeds and balancing green tea.
• Aloe Vera Gel- a base of soothing amino acids that help to penetrate the skin and carry other beneficial ingredients along with it.
• Bearberry Leaf Extract- is Arbutin. This ingredient is a natural double action whitening agent. Arbutin protects the skin against damage caused by free radicals. It’s a skin whitening agent which is very popular in Japan for skin de-pigmentation. Arbutin inhibits the formation of melanin pigment by inhibiting melanogenesis. It also inhibits tyrosinase activity, is an anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial ingredient.
• Licorice Extract- Licorice extract as well as Arbutin are well tolerated and do not cause irritation. Both are used for anti-inflammatory and skin lightening properties. They work well together.
• Tussilago Extract-
• Salicylic Acid- from white birch leaves, is an effective beta hydroxyl acid that decongests the skin
• Agarose- agar from seaweed, a thickener
• Yarrow extract- an herb known for its skin stimulation properties
• Comfrey Extract-soothes the skin
• Coltsfoot Extract-helps soothe and calm the skin, reduces inflammation and redness
• Allantoin- from Comfrey, soothes and hydrates the skin, also reduces inflammation
